Because I'm primarily on HN to seek employment, and I deleted my Amazon account after issues similar to the ones in the OP.
It is frustrating to me that if I exercise my right to "take my business elsewhere", and then, due to unemployment, have more free time to use my 1st amendment protected free expression, folks seem to seek out what I say and take offense at it, when if I had something to occupy my time I'd probably be on the internet less.

I comment on most Haskell threads about IHP because I would love to see more Haskell adoption. Most people think Haskell is about Monads and Math, with IHP we want to show that Haskell can be used in a very productive way to build things. The comments are typically well received, so I don't see any problem with this.

Reselling from AliExpress and drop shipping are orthogonal issues. You don't buy drop shipped stuff on Amazon because it would take too long too arrive. The value of Amazon is having items in local warehouses already.
I've received things via DHL that I had no idea when ordered it was coming directly from China. However, being DHL, it arrived in 2-days. There was no signifincant offsetting charge for this delivery method.
