What a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing! As a mechanical engineer with barely any knowledge or inclination towards coding and/or finance you persuaded me to look into the game.

That's because not enough of the hormone leptin (feeling of satiety) gets created when you ingest sugary foods.

I've noticed this happens even after desert. If I have a steak or similar and end there, it's fine. If I have something sweet, I'll feel hungry in two hours.

It's not as bad as it was 5 years ago. It's closer to the flat office design.

There was a 6 month period in my life where 3 slices a bread per day and cup of tea per day were all I could afford. When that ran out it was cornflakes and tea. Last week in the month was just tea. I had this novel idea of crumbling some bread, mixing it up with water to create a paste and then applying the paste to the 2 remaining slices. That was my Sad Bastard Menu.

I've been using hackernews as a great alternative to reddit. When they shut off compact reddit I completely moved to HN.

But HN doesn't have communities. We need something that gives you lightweight bulletin boards (because that's what reddit replaced). I love HN, but it's really just a subreddit with its own website.

I've done this for such a long time, one of the first times was at the eye doctor, when they test your vision with the symbols on the walls. Some of those "E" symbols were pointed in all directions and the hand twitch was so helpful. Thank you for sharing that tidbit!

I just realized that after unsuccessfully trying to load it for the last 4 minutes. What a sad day this is.

What I've seen from all the AI lately is a lot of vague uncanny valley images that somehow don't fit. They're too perfect and even when they try to be imperfect it's too intentional.

I've been tying my scarf like that for quite some time! Haven't seen anyone else use it like that, though.

How did you install it on win10?

Hi, hope you're still there.

I don't remember doing anything special. Just copied the files from my older laptop in a writable directory, not under Program Files, but under my user home dir.

Let me know if you have any problem with that.
