If you have the time, and you are willing to learn, o suggest Arch Linux. It is great due to the full customization from the user, and complete control. The bad side is that you have to put in some serious time to get it up and running. It is worth it in my opinion.

It does not feel like GotHub anymore. The old layout always had a more robust feel. Now it is too modern. The main thing that bugs me is that the languages of the repository are at the bottom right now instead of the top.
