Not just stats. Configuration changes take around a day to take effect as well. Figuring out how to do authentication and permissions was such a pain. A half-assed integration with google cloud doesn't quite behave like the normal google cloud. Vague error messages. And every time you changed something you couldn't be certain your new setting was incorrect until you waited for an approximate day.
Ultimately we'll find more efficient techniques and hardware and AI companies will end up owning Nuclear Power Stations and continue providing models capable of 10x of what they are now.
Valuation have already reached point where these companies can run their nuclear power station, fund developement of new hardware and techniques and boost capabilities of their models by 10x
There's not enough nuclear to go around, and the approval/permitting process for new nuclear power plants is nothing to sneeze at, both in terms of time and cost.
That's also ignoring that nuclear power plants also consume quite a bit of water, which may be a more difficult bottleneck in and of itself even without trying to add nuclear into the mix.
Exactly, it will do a decent job with designs using an established component library or design system. For most/many sites and web apps it will be better and faster than trying to design from scratch. There will continue to be a place for highly custom, unique designs but most smaller sites don't need to start there.
If I get my stuff hacked (because I use a machine with nothing else on it other than coding agents) I'll know these services are not removing my personal info from their logs.
I don't operate chinese models where my high value api keys are.
It's pretty hard to debug stuff without using real api keys, service accounts etc...otjerwise
