I run a few side projects which have a respectable amount of traffic and revenue, for the most part they're nothing special, just some fairly simple web based tools that have a little advertising on the page.

Within the next few months to a year I'm planning to stop my day job and spend some more time on these side projects, and well just on life :)

Initially I was hoping to buy a website (or two), ideally someone else's side project that I can see some potential in growing and improving, that's more service based than advertising and therefore the tech behind it's a bit more interesting... or if it's advertising something that's just more interesting.

However I've been looking now for 3-4 months and can't find anything, looking on the likes of Flippa, for the most part the sites just seem to be very new, spammy, or just a bit rubbish...

Any other places I'm missing at looking? Or are people only really selling what they don't see much of a future in...
