Can't turn any fun games into reliable oracles. You could use the blockchain itself as a source of randomness, but that's a very boring way to gamble.

More interesting IMO are securities in etherium. The world does just fine with (for example) the options clearing corporation and courts, but I wonder if by automating it you could fix some of the scaling problems (for example, allowing people on short visas to use options in foreign markets.)
