For some time now we witness the model submit-accept-present then rinse-and-repeat for publishing computing results. Maybe we as a community should profit from the COVID-19 crisis to adapt the model and maybe follow the steps of more established research fields based on journal reporting, except faster. Do we really need to keep presenting results in conferences, now even worsened by the fact that it is required to do it virtually?
