Not really. Your linked post is referring to a retweet of the announcement by fuz (Robert Klausecker) on twitter (in German), while this thread is linking to his original post in english as email.
Note that "dupe" refers not just to a single link but to a given story. Generally the first submission is given preference, though here HN mods elected to stick with this later submission (there were several others posted within a few hours of each other).
