So they've increased the price for their "pro" stylus which you need to erase (now the same as the 2nd gen Apple Pencil), their screen sharing has a large border to accommodate their logo, and the only way to get your handwriting converted to text (one of the key features they've advertised since the days of RM1) is to pay for $8/mo plan.
I don't see any reason why a company or school would buy these over iPads (guessing they're banking on outlets not updating their already middling reviews and the "discount" obscuring these changes). I'll personally grab Sony's new e-ink tablet, but I'm still holding out hope for another company to jump into this space with a competitive product for general employees/consumers. Frankly, the quality of the RM2 isn't good enough to justify this kind of "premium" subscription service.
