He did and has been doing this ever since. I got into one gig through him and stayed there about 10 months. I just got my annual call the other week, but had to refuse because I'm not planning on switching yet, but we'll be in touch. Several times recruiters who I told the same got back to me after a set period. Does this count?

I don't know. I also have some recruiters who respect my "not now, ask again in 6 months" reply, but for actual job-jobs.

Does your guy call you when he has a gig for you or is he trying to get you to take a full-time position?
