Show HN: Sumplete – A logic puzzle game invented by ChatGPT (sumplete.com)

This was a fun project to test some more capabilities of ChatGPT. I was really amazed at how it was able to both invent the idea for the puzzle and then code a playable version of the game a few seconds later! I wrote a short post showing my prompts here - https://sumplete.com/about

Surprisingly good game! Nice job both of you. 6x6 took me a few minutes, after initially seeming impossible. I like much more than Sudoku cause it uses maths as well as logic. 9x9... not so easy :-)

Possible bug: I got some of the row/column numbers (outside the puzzle) turning bold black before I'd finished ruling numbers in that row/column in or out, not sure why. That was with the 9x9 grid.

If you like more maths/complicated sudoku's you should try variant sudoku. Killer cages in particular make the puzzles quite mathy

So cool! Minor piece of feedback: I went to try the different levels and when I clicked on the 'master' one (pretty insane tbh) it took me a while to figure out how to exit the game and select another level of difficulty. I'd make this more clear.

I've been enjoying this!

One request I would love: remove the values I've circled in green from the row and column amounts - i.e. just show me what's remaining to be found (save me doing that in my head over and over)

Great work though!

Another set of requests... (No idea if you're open to improving this?)

Stats (fairly obvious) Sharing link for specific grid.

And the main, less intuitive one: hide a row / column when the user has marked every cell in the row column as either bad or good. This obviously only works if you also do the "changing number thing" I mentioned in the previous comment.

This is so cool! My god. It's like discovery using AI. thanks for showing me new ways to use AI and to dream about what's possible!!!!!! :) ;p xx;p

Quite fun! But maybe modify it to make zeros less likely? Having a zero makes it very easy. And one time I got all zeros!

I also got one already solved, maybe add a check to remake the board if if comes up with that.

Wow!! Thanks for the about page.

Did it come up with the css for the green circles?

Yes and also the idea to use green circles in the first place
