Hi,
I've been a software engineer for eight years, working on ML platforms for all of it. The two main paths I see ahead of me are management and IC.
I'd like to poll for ideas on careers that would leverage the technical skills I've built, but that aren't centered on building software systems, or are near-equivalents of software engineers (like DevOps, Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and so on). I'm looking for alternative career paths that also have good prospects for the future. So far, I've got:
- Product manager
- Solutions architect
- Data scientist
- Sales engineer
Are there any other paths that might be worth considering?
Thank you.
