Anything special other than the well-known Annus Mirabilis papers by Einstein?
To be honest, I was kinda underwhelmed when it said "involved some significant events, particularly in physics" but literally only listed Annus Mirabilis papers. It's of course probably the most important thing in the whole century, but I'd imagine more (quantitatively) for "events". (To make it clear, this is a criticism for the writing, not the year).
