Apple Pay rocks, it has saved me a few times when I forgot my wallet. And it’s faster to use than pulling out my wallet.

I don't know whether it is popular
everywhere
, but it is certainly popular everywhere I go (anywhere in the US, and western Europe). I absolutely love it.
