There should be a MacBook SUV model for those who prefer macos and ThinkPad golden age modular hardware design.

I fondly remember this. This is the year I got converted, to Mac from Windows and never went back.

Same I still have my original Core Duo Macbook Pro somewhere.

I really loved that machine and it was definitely a gateway drug the Mac world. I used it mainly for development work but also for DJing and I have some really fond memories of learning Ableton on it.

I've been using Macs ever since (with a few Linux laptops along the way).
