That's a tough call, since music producers mix and match from many different sources. I used to use a program called Band in a Box, where you fed it the chord structure and picked a style, and it would generate pretty darn good instrumental tracks, good enough that I could use them as part of a mix. I'm sure today producers use AI for even better results. I would mix live tracks, MIDI tracks, and generated tracks together to get the sound I wanted.
You'd have to define AI, and what kind of computer assistance is acceptable. What about drum machines? Sequencers? It might be hard to draw the line.
