I bought a Toshiba laptop previously and accidentally lots of water got leaked into it. (was my mistake) The system didn't reboot at all. They entirely replaced my RAM and other hardware components free of cost. This happened in India. So I guess the situation varies.

I can see that happening but in this case I am screwed..
