I hacked this up over the last two weeks and it's finally in the appstore. It's a hybrid app (webviews with native forms and navigation) and uses rails (on a linode VPS) as a backend. It's a local messaging app that sends push messages via APN or GCM.<p>http://herenow.nolanconsul.com/
