I mean it's a big story, if you can do part of job of VMWare


This is a totally different type of VM than VMWare makes.

This is what's called a process virtual machine, and they make application virtual machines (I think).

Basically, this acts as a small CPU-type-thing and interprets instructions. Theirs emulate whole operating systems.


Sound more like container


It's similar to the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) or the .NET CLR VM if you're familiar with either of those.


Mmm nope. Nothing about kernels in here.


Think VM as in JVM.
